The Venue Illustration Process

Each sketch of your wedding venue is digitally created from a photograph using Adobe Illustrator, resulting in a refined ink effect drawing of your wedding venue.

It’s a careful and detailed process, where every line is thoughtfully placed to capture the character of your venue.

While the final look is beautifully simple, the process itself is intricate. It involves layering fine details, building depth through line work, and carefully introducing texture to create a natural, hand-drawn effect.

So to begin, all we need is the name of your venue. Once you’ve chosen your stationery pieces, we’ll take care of the rest and create something truly special for you.

How much does it cost

We’ve had the pleasure of creating venue sketch wedding stationery for many beautiful venues where we are recommended suppliers, as well as discovering new and inspiring locations through our couples.

If your venue is already part of the collection, there’s no additional design fee. For new venues, a small £25 fee applies to cover the time and care that goes into creating your bespoke line drawing of your wedding venue. Your stationery is then priced per piece as usual.

Venue sketch Wedding Stationery - Design and Styling

Because every venue is so different, we’ve developed a small collection of font styles designed to complement the illustrations perfectly.

As all of our stationery, the illustration range is professionally printed in England onto premium, eco-friendly ‘eggshell white’ or ‘gesso’ cardstock. The quality and finish is outstanding.

We can create a range of wedding stationery in the sketched venue collection. *Not all of the pieces will have the venue on them. For the other pieces of stationery, we will use your font choice to keep the continuity.
